Ombigaichan is located in the eastern Nepal in Mahalangur range of Solukhumbu region. This peak was first issued for climbing permit in 2002 however it was rarely climbed. The recognized route is Lukla-Namche Bazaar, Ama Dablam Base Camp, Ombigaichen Base Camp.
