This peak is situated on the north of Beni and Dhor Patan hunting reserve and west of Dhaulagiri (8163m.). Churen is one of the highest peaks of Dhaulagiri range. Churen himal has three pinnacles, which are called Churen west (7371m.), Churen central (7375m.) and Churen north (7371m.) and among which the central is the chief one.
