Pumori is the part of Mahalangur range which lie in the border of Nepal and Tibet, China. It is 8 km away from Mt. Everest. The name Pumo Ri means “Mountain(Ri) Daughter(Pumo)” in Sherpa Language and it was named by George Mallory.
